A LUXURY PICNIC CURATED FOR YOU

The Jackson Ford is a 1992 20 ft Electric Canal Cruiser  This vessel can accommodate up to 6 guests, has a full covering overhead, dining table and seating for 6 guests. She has a fully electric motor and cruises the canals at a gentle 5-7 knots.

The Vintage Cruiser is a 1965 Century Resor that has been lovingly restored to its original glory. She seats 4 guests plus the Captain comfortably and because it is powered by a gasoline engine, she can cruise for extended periods of time at a brisk speed. Perfect for jaunts to the local sandbarl, sightseeing along the Intercoastal,  for a day of fun in the sun.

Pickup is at our private dock in Fort Lauderdale. Directions will be provided to you upon reservation.

No, there is no restroom facility at the dock location. Guests are reminded to use the restroom prior to arrival.

Absolutely! Our only restriction is no Red Wine on the Vintage Cruiser. If you are planning to drink something other than wine, just let us know so we can provide the appropriate glassware (champagne glasses, margarita, shot, beer, etc).

Every picnic is arranged with a complete setting of tableware for each guest, this includes the formal place settings and cloth napkins as well as filtered water, ice, and lemonade.

The picnics last 2 hours. Daytime cruises typically go out at 11:30 for a lovely afternoon trip through the canals. For the best sunset photos, it is ideal to go out on the water approximately 1.5 hours prior to sunset.

Just ask. We keep track of the sunset and moonrise times each month, and can help you pinpoint the best date and location for a beautiful, evening picnic on the beach with the moon rising over the ocean. It only happens a few evenings a year and is totally worth the wait!

The Picnic Canal Cruiser can accommodate up to 6 guests. Children and small dogs are welcome! Appropriate floatation devices are always available. Beach and land picnics can accommodate up to 6 guests. Please contact us directly for parties larger than 6.

Charcuterie boards require 48 hours advance notice. Weekend availability for picnics is typically several weeks in advance, with weekdays more readily available.

In addition to being a boat captain, picnic expert, charcuterie artist, Kathleen is also a wannabe meteorologist. Kathleen follows the weather patterns, radar, and lightning tracker carefully and if there is rain predicted in the area at the time of your picnic, we will reschedule, or go out before or after the rain. Lots of times the rain storms in South Florida don’t last very long and the calm waters and rainbows after the storm are amazing! Beach picnics require at least 4 hours of predicted dry weather.

All picnics will be rescheduled in the event of weather-related cancellations. Deposit refunds will be returned to guests who are from out of town and have a weather cancellation.
